This Green Time features the keynote talk by Jim Hightower, who details the growing socio-economic inequality and environmental degradation in the US. Hightower describes how policies of Al Gore and George Bush benefit their corporate sponsors and are equally destructive to average people.
Green Time is winner of the 1999 DHTV Excellence Award for Best Informational Show. Green Time, St. Louis' only environmental cable TV show, is produced by the Gateway Greens in conjunction with DHTV Ch. 21 on TCI City Cable in St. Louis.
